Dan is a seasoned industry veteran leading national media teams at both television networks and media agencies. He has spent the past 25 years utilizing the special skill set of corporate trade investments to garner results for his clients. His primary responsibility is to oversee media investments, strategy, and account service. Dan’s leadership ensures that media activation is aligned with the advertiser’s business goals, and his team stands by his mantra of “Good enough is not enough”.
Prior to joining Sherwood, Dan was President of AMPro Consultants, a corporate trade company that ran an exclusive new business development program for Turner Broadcasting Ad Sales. He also launched the national media acquisitions and fulfillment group at Icon International as Vice President of National Media from 1991 through 2000. Dan began his career at the CBS Television Network in 1980 and held various management positions at full service advertising agencies that included Saatchi and Saatchi and Chiat/Day Advertising.
Dan lives in Huntington, NY with his two daughters, and is an active member of his community, having served four consecutive terms as Vice President on the Board of Education for the Elwood Union Free School District.
